About Calibre Outdoors

In the heart of Wanaka, New Zealand, surrounded by mountains and rivers, two passions converged to create Calibre Outdoors. We're Lennon Bright and Jason Beacham, photographers, videographers, and avid outdoorsmen, and this is our story.

From Two Worlds, One Passion

Our journey to Calibre Outdoors began with a shared love for two things: the raw beauty of the outdoors and the art of capturing it. Lennon, a true Kiwi with an insatiable thirst for adventure, has spent his life exploring the wild landscapes of New Zealand. Jason, who grew up in the backcountry of Idaho, learned the ways of the wilderness from his father, hunting and fishing from a young age.

Though from different corners of the globe, our paths crossed in Wanaka, where we quickly discovered a common ground in our passion for fly fishing, hunting, and creating powerful visual content. With a combined 30 years of experience behind the lens, we decided to merge our skills and passions to create Calibre Outdoors.
